	The HiNet WebDial service provides a virtual dial pad on your corporate website that allows you to call your customers with just one click. You can talk directly over the Internet while browsing as well as offer support, answer questions, and complete e-commerce transactions. .

	The HiNet Voice VPN service supports those who use the Internet for customer support. Who can use HiFax?

HiFax is available for those who pay monthly dues to HiNet, such as Dial-Up users, ADSL subscribers, or HiNet Leased Line users. These customers can use all features of HiFax, but not users of HiNet Content Point Consuming Card.

HiFax products:

‧	PCFax allows HiNet users to use any internet-connected PC to fax a variety of document types (MS Word, PowerPoint, etc.) to either one or many customers

‧	The PCFax service is already active for all valid customers – all you need to do is download the appropriate software. For rate details, see the fee schedule below.

Fax2Fax

‧	Fax2Fax allows HiNet customers to transmit documents using a fax machine to multiple recipients in their phone book.

‧	Beginning in October of 2003, this service became active – fees same as PCFax (see below).

Socket2Fax

‧	Companies with an internal information system or intranet with OCX support (MS Windows only) are able to directly send faxes from their computer system.

‧	This service began operation in September of 2003. For rate, please speak with a HiNet customer service representative.

Fees for HiFax:

HiFax is a HiNet value added service. We charge based on the schedule below:

Domestic faxes:

‧	The fee for domestic faxes is based on page count. 1st page is 2.5 NT, and each page after the first is 2 NT each.
‧	204x196 dpi (high-resolution) faxes are charged at 150% of above

International fax

‧	Unlike domestic faxes, the fee for international faxes is based on

connecting time, calculated every 6 seconds, with the minimum charge for each fax being one minute. Rates vary depending on what country and are you wish to fax to.

Other relevant fees.

(1)	Phone book addition fee:
	Customers using Fax2Fax and who wish to use the phone book will be charged 3 NT for each name added after the first 10 names. There is no charge for having 10 or less numbers in your phone book.
(2)	To prevent abuse of the HiNet fax system, if there is no standard fax machine response or the number that you dial is a voice line, there will be an additional charge of 2.5 NT per incident.
(3)	How do I use low resolution faxes to save on international faxes? When printing, choose HiNet Fax, click on Properties, Device Setting, Resolution, select 204x98 DPI, and then choose OK. 204x98 DPI is the standard “low” resolution for a fax. When you send the fax, it will take about half the time that a normal fax will.

(5)	How do I check the size of the fax I will be transmitting? If you are using the newest edition of HiNet Fax (hnfax2000a.exe) you can use the “print preview” feature to see the size of your fax, and the transmission speed of the fax. At current negotiated rates, you can transmit about 1k/second.
(6)	How is time for transmission calculated? Not when the fax leaves your computer, but transmission time between our HiNet fax servers and the intended recipient’s fax machine.

Using ChungHwa Telecom’s HiLink as a connecting network, HiVideo Business also uses HiNet leased lines or the ADSL 512 DSL Plan to construct a VPN to allow fast and secure teleconferencing. HiVideo Business also allows you to use all other relative meeting functions such as using your old conference room to teleconference. Using an ATM backbone offering high Quality of Service, HiVideo Business is dedicated to offering high quality, high efficiency, no delay, stable conferencing, so that you can enjoy all the benefits of high-speed HiVideo teleconferencing. ‧	HiMail offers corporations their own unique identity for online messaging. Unlike those companies that require on an ISP for e-mail, HiMail offers corporations e-mail accounts at their own chosen domains.

‧	HiMail offers a clear, intuitive and powerful interface for mail administrators as well as normal users. All the steps that are needed to setup your mail account, such as DNS, www and FTP will be setup by an expert HiNet consultant.
