New subscribers need to pay the ADSL installation fee of NT$500 and will not be charged the HiNet system connection fee of NT$1500.

Subscribers participating in this promotion must use the HiNet ISP service for at least 1 year and the ChungHwa Telecom ADSL line for at least 2 years.

If service is canceled before contract expiration, an early-termination fee will be charged. This amount is NT$2.74 for each day remaining on the HiNet ISP service contract plus NT$1.37 for each day remaining on the ChungHwa Telecom ADSL line contract.

This same penalty is applied for switching ISPs before contract expiration, or if service is terminated by ChungHwa Telecom due to violation of contract rules.

An early-termination fee will be charged for canceling telephone line service before two-year contract expiration. This amount is NT$2.74 for each day remaining on the telephone line contract.(Also for new subscribers)

If transferring your telephone number to a different location, the above contract rules still apply. If service is canceled before contract expiration, an early-termination fee will still be charged. This amount is $1.37 for each day remaining on your contract.

This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or special offers.

ADSL speeds are not guaranteed as listed.

Because of distance-to-terminal or environmental variables,? subscribers of ADSL 1M (download speed) service may only receive 512k effective bandwidth. Subscribers of ADSL 2M service may only receive 1.5M effective bandwidth.

Subscribers of ADSL 8M/640K and 12M/1M service may only receive downstream bandwidth of 2M-8M or 2M-12M respectively. This represents “best effort” by HiNet and ChungHwa Telecom and bandwidth results may vary.
