how to connect to HiNet ADSL (Dynamic
IP Type) if you have Windows XP: |
| Step1 |
Click ¡§Start¡¨and open
¡§Network Connections¡¨. Choose to
¡§Show all Connections¡¨ if this option
is available. |

From ¡§Network Tasks¡¨ in the left
sidebar, choose ¡§Create a new connection.¡¨ |
| Step3 |
You should see a ¡§Welcome to the
New Connection Wizard¡¨. Click ¡§Next¡¨
to continue. |
| Step4 |
Choose the first option,¡§Connect
to the Internet¡¨ and click ¡§Next¡¨. |
| Step5 |
Choose the second option, ¡§Set
up my connection manually¡¨ and click
¡§Next¡¨. |
| Step6 |
Choose the second option, ¡§Connect
using a broadband connection that
requires a user name and password¡¨
and click ¡§Next¡¨. |
| Step7 |
Enter ¡§HiNet¡¨ as your ISP Name
and click ¡§Next¡¨. |
| Step8 |
Enter your ¡§User name¡¨ followed
by @hinet.net (for example: customer_id@hinet.net),
and ¡§Password¡¨ (your HiNet ID password).
Also, enter your HiNet ID password
again into ¡§Confirm password¡¨. Then
click ¡§Next¡¨. |

Select ¡§Add a shortcut to this
connection to my desktop¡¨ and click
on ¡§Finish¡¨. |

A ¡§Connect HiNet¡¨ window will
appear. Click ¡§Connect¡¨ to connect
to HiNet. |

To connect to HiNet in the future,
double click the ¡§HiNet¡¨ icon on
your desktop and click on ¡§Connect¡¨. |
